The Big Fake Wedding

{Throwback Thursday} The Big Fake Wedding

Today we’re looking back on the most dynamic event The Sharpsuiter has ever been a part of: The Big Fake Wedding. Taking the place of a traditional bridal fair, The Big Fake Wedding calls on several talented vendors to collaborate with a real married couple (posing as the bride and groom) at a beautiful venue. All the vendors work with a given theme and show what they have to offer, resulting in a…big fake wedding! Engaged couples come as the wedding guests and then eat, drink, dance, and network with vendors after the wedding. These events pop up across the country during the prime months of wedding planning season.

The Sharpsuiter was the menswear vendor at the 2019 Boulder event, which took place in March at The St. Vrain in Longmont. The theme was “Dark and Stormy,” which called for a mid-century modern look (think Don Draper) for the men. The groom and his two groomsmen were fitted for classic black custom tuxedos and white custom shirts with French cuffs. Check out the gorgeous event photography and blog coverage here:
